Relax in three private outdoor areas, or open a bottle of wine and unwind in the courtyard, which is shared with other units at the Old Yacht Club Inn. Situated near picturesque East Beach, enjoy quick access to the surf and sand, as well as oceanfront dining and the palm-lined bike path that stretches along the Pacific. LIVING AREA Relax on a leather sofa, two chairs, and a built-in banquette next to the gas fireplace in the living room. Tickle the ivories on an antique piano or watch shows on the flat-screen TV. KITCHEN & DINING The beautifully updated kitchen boasts a marble tile backsplash and quality appliances -- including a four-burner gas range with griddle and an industrial-size fridge. Serve meals at the dining room table with seating for seven. BEDROOMS & BATHS This two-level home has five bedrooms that sleep 10 total. Stretch out on a California king bed in the main-level master bedroom, complete with a velvet chair and electric fireplace, while French doors lead to a private patio. The en-suite master bathroom has a walk-in shower. The four guest rooms are located upstairs. The second bedroom has a queen bed, armchair, and en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Rest comfortably on a queen bed in the third bedroom that also features a desk area, walk-in closet, and en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower combination. Sweet dreams await on a king canopy bed in the sunlit fourth bedroom, complete with a built-in window seat, walk-in closet, and en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The fifth guest room provides a king bed and an in-room jetted tub, as well as a separate water closet with a vanity. Both the fourth and fifth bedrooms offer direct balcony access. OUTDOOR AREAS A grand front porch features two seating areas with comfy lounge furniture. Sip morning coffee on the private master patio, equipped with seating for two. The upstairs balcony has seating for four. Entertain in the shared outdoor space, furnished with two alfresco dining tables and a collection of chairs. EXTRA AMENITIES & MORE DETAILS Driveway parking is available for three vehicles. A private washer/dryer, complimentary Wi-Fi, grill, and books are provided. Although this unit is not equipped with air conditioning, it is rarely needed with the mild coastal temperatures. This is an older home, so guests may hear noises from adjacent units. The home is also located near the train tracks (all Santa Barbara beachfront properties share this feature) and the 101 freeway. If you are sensitive to noise when you sleep, we recommend using the earplugs provided in each unit. While the noise doesn’t bother most guests, we like to be transparent so there are no surprises. THE LOCATION Walk 1 block to East Beach for days by the ocean. Enjoy over a dozen volleyball courts, picnic facilities, and oceanfront dining at East Beach Grill.
