I rented this home for a getaway week with my elderly mother. The back faces a bit toward the northwest so there's nice shade on the small patio in the early morning and nice outdoor chairs, and we could watch the sun sink behind the houses in the evenings. The house is as pictured though it was in a development where the houses are all jammed very close to each other and the narrow canal out back is crammed with lifts and you can hear every conversation and noise from neighbors, and of course they can hear you, too. So, there is no sense of privacy outdoors, and no view of anything natural, but every neighbor we met was extremely friendly and polite, apologized for all the noise that power washing was making, let us know we could ask them for anything we needed. If you like staying very close to really nice, active neighbors, this is a great location. I had no trouble with the development gate or house door lock. It's very close to the grocery store, a couple of good restaurants, a nature preserve, pharmacy, Urgent Care, etc. The house only has one A/C zone, a bit of a challenge for sleeping preferences, but the appliances were all easy to use and worked well. Though on one floor, without grab bars in the master shower, and no railing to hold onto to get in and out of the small but nice, clean, pool, it was not ideal for my mother, though for anyone without mobility issues these things would not matter. We were able to see a few jumping fish from the patio, and a manatee came by, in the canal, but not visible without getting down on the dock. The towels are great, the beds are comfortable, shower water pressure very good. We didn't find the couch particularly comfortable, but the breakfast nook chairs and table were. The wireless worked perfectly and though a TV guide would have been VERY helpful since the system channels were unfamiliar, all of the TVs we used, and their remotes, were great. Some additional pest control might be recommended, but we weren't too bothered, just enough to notice and deal with. I know it's a pet friendly property and I appreciate that, though had no pet with me this trip. I also appreciated the opportunity to check in early but found out too late to plan for that, though was able to enjoy the noon checkout which allowed a chance to do a last load of laundry, not feel rushed out. It seems to me that noon should be the standard checkout for any house though.
