Great Floor Plan - Great Location - Sadly Neglected Upkeep
Upon reading the reviews from Deena L. and Roger M. in December, I had a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach! I immediately called TurkKey to inquire if any of their complaints had been fixed. It took four calls in a 2-week period to be told that "condo inspected on 1/2/18 to make sure everything was in working order". Upon arrival on February 1, 2018, we almost turned around and left. However, I called TurnKey immediately, as the only complaint that was fixed was forcing the screen door back on the track (the handles were broken off so hard to open and close). They said they would try to find us another condo, but were unable to provide us a different condo for our 30-night stay. Within 48-hours, TurnKey had made the condo "liveable" by cleaning the garage, hiring a professional carpet cleaning company to clean the nasty carpets, and replace missing slats on the vertical blinds. The chipped sinks and tile floors will have to wait for another time. Also, ill-fitting slipcovers were on the couch and loveseat - not pretty like the pictures. I also asked for more kitchen towels - one useable, the other full of holes. No follow through with this. We had to go purchase towels and dish rags ourselves, along with skirt hangars, as there were none. The iron was terrible, couldn't get enough heat to get wrinkles out of clothes. The master bed sheets didn't stay on because they used regular king sheets for a California king mattress. Found a Cal king set in closet so at least that was better even though the top sheet had a hole in it! We didn't use the guest bedroom, but I noticed there was only a top mattress - no box springs! I wonder how comfortable that would have been to sleep on. We were excited to have a grill in the courtyard for outdoor cooking, but it was "icky looking" and not used. The cable for the living room TV went out for 1 1/2 days, but the TV in the master bedroom still worked. Overall, this property needs a major face lift.

Was not exactly “Immaculate” as titled
At first I had my reservation cancelled because I did not know I could fill out the additional Rental contract online. I had scanned it and signed it. Whenever I called Customer service they took a long time to answer and reinstate my rental. The resort Guard gate required a PIN nmber that should have been in the very top of the check-in instructions and not buried in the body of the email. On arrival the condo was so outdated and in need of repairs,
Old dishwasher, filthy white carpets, enamel chipped
Off sinks, cracked floor tiles, old showers, squeaky dryer, dirty garage, master sheets ill-fitting, patio screen broken and off runner. Owner or management company not paying attention or they just don’t care anymore. I wondered why the rate was so good ....oh well. Loved PGA West resort however. Sorry.

My husband and I came to La Quinta for some quiet relaxation for a few days. We really liked this condo. The area was beautiful and very quiet. We have been to this area many, many times and decided to just stay in so the kitchen and amenities came in very handy. The condo was clean and had everything we needed...beach towels included! Although the weather did not cooperate (40-50 mph winds one day and rain the next) we were still able to bbq and enjoy the views from the patio. My only recommendation would be to add a binder with information as to how to work some of the electronics in the home...i.e. the television, air conditioner, etc. The reservation confirmation said the place came with a tablet with the information but, it was not there. Turnkey agents were very good about answering any questions we had. We would definitely rent this place again!
