This 2BR/2BA mountain retreat is your ideal home base for both winter and summer getaways. The nearby shuttle stop makes getting around town easy, and points of interest like Canyon Lodge and The Village are within walking distance. Bike paths, hiking trails, and stunning lakes are within a 10-minute drive. And close proximity to the slopes means skiers and snowboarders can get a head start on powder days. Guests at the Mountainback condominiums will enjoy an array of shared amenities, including a hot tub and sauna. LIVING AREA Designed with comfort in mind, the inviting living room is furnished with a full-size sleeper sofa, two armchairs, a 55” flat-screen TV, and a Sonos sound system. Curl up with a hot beverage on the bean bag and bask in the warm glow of the wood-burning fireplace. KITCHEN & DINING Whip up hearty meals in the kitchen, equipped with all the gadgets and appliances you’ll need during your stay. The breakfast area has bar seating for three and opens to the dining area with a table set for six. BEDROOMS & BATHS This condo sleeps up to six guests between the two bedrooms and a full-size sleeper sofa in the living room. The master suite is furnished with a California king bed, comfy armchair, and 45” flat-screen TV. Guests will have private access to the balcony. This bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a double vanity and tub/shower combination. The second bedroom has a queen bed and flat-screen TV. The full guest bathroom is located in the hallway. OUTDOOR AREA Take in the stately mountain scenery with your morning coffee from the comfort of your private balcony. Step out to this area directly from the living area or the master bedroom. As part of the Mountainback community, you’ll enjoy access to a seasonal swimming pool, year-round sauna, hot tub, and gas grill. EXTRA AMENITIES & MORE DETAILS This dog-friendly home includes complimentary Wi-Fi and a washer/dryer. Parking is available for a maximum of two vehicles in the parking garage (one designated spot, and one on a first-come, first-serve basis). Maximum height in the garage is 7’. The unit is accessed via 16 steps (two half-flights of stairs) from the garage. Firewood is available on the balcony outside the living room. Although the condo is not equipped with A/C, it is rarely needed with the mild summer temperatures at nearly 8,000 feet in elevation. Per Mammoth Lakes ordinances, the maximum allowable occupancy is six people and two cars (enforced and patrolled 24 hours a day). Excessive noise or over-occupancy at any time will result in a guest fine and/or eviction. Mammoth Lakes BTC #8232. THE LOCATION Conveniently located a half mile from Canyon Lodge, you can easily ski all morning and be back in time for lunch. The Village is less than a mile in the other direction. Catch a film, go bowling, or stock up on groceries -- a number of options are within 3 miles. Choose whether to walk, drive, or take the shuttle (with a stop right outside of the building). Pack a picnic and head to one of the lovely alpine lakes, such as McLeod, Horseshoe, Mary, or George. All are less than 5 miles away and are perfect for hiking, biking, fishing, or just enjoying the fantastic views.
