Description

Offering a tranquil getaway amid the pines, this 4BR/2.5BA Tahoe City house comes with a quiet location and views of Lake Tahoe from a large deck. The house also has its own hot tub, and guests have access to the private Tahoe Park HOA — a private lakefront beach club with a host of recreational facilities, BBQs, picnic tables, and a kids’ playground. Drive 5 minutes to downtown Tahoe City and spend the day exploring boutiques, museums, galleries, and restaurants. In summer months, be sure to visit Commons Beach — a 4+ acre park that hosts seasonal concerts and family movie nights. The Sunnyside Restaurant & Lodge is a must-visit. Just a 2-minute drive away, this lakeside restaurant has a huge deck, valet parking for boats, and crowd-pleasing dishes - including their famous Off The Hook Fish Tacos. ABOUT THE HOUSE Double-height windows welcome natural light into an open sitting area with soaring ceilings. Sprawl out on the large couch, or grab a book and sink into the armchair. Enjoy quiet privacy in the upstairs second living space. There’s a 32” flat screen TV with a Blu-ray player and soundbar, and a couch and two sitting chairs. Cook up a feast in a spacious kitchen with granite countertops and a three-person bar. The kitchen’s array of stainless steel appliances includes a gas range and a side-by-side refrigerator. When dinner’s ready, gather at the wooden dining table with seating for eight. A beautiful back deck offers views of Lake Tahoe. The house also has a covered front deck with a gas grill and a private hot tub. Upstairs, wood accents and cream-color carpets create a welcoming feel to each of the bedrooms — sleeping eight total. The master bedroom boasts a queen bed, a window-side sitting area with lake views, and a 26” flat screen TV with a DVD player. Two twin beds await in the second bedroom, while the third a queen bed and the forth has a full. In addition, the fourth bedroom has a 32” flat screen TV, and a closet for storage. The upper level also has two full bathrooms, one with a shower/tub combination and the other with a walk-in shower. In addition, guests have access to free Wi-Fi, cable TV, and an entry-level half bath with a washer/dryer. The driveway provides parking space for up to four vehicles. Outdoor wood-burning fires and charcoal grills are prohibited per local ordinances. THE LOCATION This quiet neighborhood home puts you at the heart of the action, with the best of Tahoe City on your doorstep. Drive 3 minutes to the private Tahoe Park HOA. Along with piers, BBQs and picnic tables, a range of recreational facilities and a kids’ playground offer plenty of family fun. Just a 5-minute drive away, Tahoe City offers everything from art galleries and museums to historic landmarks, boutiques and lakefront restaurants. After a morning of exploration, perch yourself on the golden shores of Commons Beach. In the summer months, rent bikes and head along the Truckee River to Squaw Valley — home of the 1960 Olympics. Or take a carefree ride along the beautiful West Shore. Dining options are plentiful in downtown, but it’s worth taking the 2-minute drive to the popular Sunnyside Restaurant & Lodge. Be sure to try a slice of Kimo’s Original Hula Pie®!
