Perfect for families, this 3BR, 2BA South Lake Tahoe home (sleeps 8) is right on the bike path to Camp Richardson, Pope Beach and dog-friendly Kiva Beach. INSIDE THE HOUSE After arriving in this quiet residential neighborhood, pull into a long driveway with parking for 3. Head up three short steps to reach the front door. On entry, you’ll walk into an open-concept living space with a tasteful vintage vibe, modern furnishings. Immediately ahead of the front door, a bright and open kitchen features all-white cabinetry, appliances (including electric stove/oven), and handy extras like a coffee maker, blender, and toaster. There’s also a newly installed washer and dryer here, so you can easily stay on top of the laundry. Please note, this home does not have a dishwasher. Directly in front of the kitchen, there’s seating for 5 at a country-style breakfast table. On the right of the entry, the living room has a queen pull out sofa, rocking chair, and 2 sofa chairs to snuggle up on. Settle down for the night in front of the 42” wall-mounted TV. On chilly days, nothing beats warming toes around the wood-burning fireplace. From the living area, a hallway leads to a master bedroom with a queen-size bed, plush white linens, and a wooden dresser. Opposite, you can get ready for the day in a bathroom with a shower-tub combo. Just off the hallway, a private back yard surrounded by pines is great for outdoor enjoyment. Arriving in the warmer months? Fire up the gas grill and enjoy family barbecues in the sun. The remaining bedrooms are located on the second floor. Perfect for kids, a bedroom on the right of the stairs has 2 twin-size beds, a dresser, and closet. Opposite, a light and airy 3rd bedroom for four people has 2 full-size beds and a dresser and closet for storage. Bikes are available for guest use from Memorial Day through Labor Day. THE LOCATION When the snow falls, hop in the car and drive 15 minutes to the glistening slopes of Heavenly Ski Resort. After a day in the mountains, head down to Heavenly Village for shopping, dining, or a rejuvenating spa treatment. As the ice thaws and temperatures climb, spend warmer months boating, kayaking, or fishing on Lake Tahoe, just a 5-min. drive. Or pack your backpacks and see the region’s famed natural beauty along the Rubicon Trail, accessible from D. L. Bliss State Park (20-min drive). This rental is also situated right on the bike path to Camp Richardson, a historic compound with everything from a pine-tree-backed beach and ice cream parlor, to fishing charters, hiking trails, paddleboard and kayak rentals. VIOLATION/EVICTION WARNING Strict ordinances govern Lake Tahoe vacation rentals. This home cannot be used for any parties/weddings/receptions. Maximum allowable occupancy is 10 people and 3 cars, enforced/patrolled 24 hours/day. Excessive noise or over-occupancy at any time of day will result in guest fine up to $2,000 (as well as any fines assessed against the homeowner). Failure to observe the NO PARTY policy will result in eviction. WARNING: This home is located in a sound-sensitive neighborhood and is not suitable for large/ noisy groups.
