Description
This recently remodeled studio unit has two queen beds and direct views of the pool, golf course, and ski hill at the Resort at Squaw Creek - Rated by Conde Nast Traveler as one of the nation’s Top 5 Resort Spas. Located on the fifth floor with one of the best views in the building looking up the valley at the Tram Face, the two queen units are great for couples or families who want to enjoy everything the resort has to offer. Inside, our floor-plan showcases incredible views of the surrounding mountains, valley, and forest along. There are two queen beds, a desk for getting some work done, a dresser and flat-screen TV as well as a bathroom with tub and shower. There is also a small refrigerator and large closet for storing all your gear. Along with ski-in/ski-out access to Squaw Valley USA, this stunning resort has an 18-hole championship golf course, 3 heated swimming pools, 2 private tennis courts, an ice rink in the winter and 18 kilometers of cross-country skiing terrain. In the winter, go skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and dog sledding. Arriving in the warmer months? Hit the Robert Trent Jones Jr. Golf Course, grab backpacks and hit the resort’s nature trail, enjoy fly-fishing in the stocked trout pound, or rent out bikes and cycle along the Truckee River Bike Trail. Don’t forget to book yourself in for a soothing massage or body treatment at the resort’s indulgent spa! The Resort at Squaw Creek requires a $40/night resort fee per bedroom paid upon arrival. The Resort also charges $20/night for self-parking and $50/night for valet. This is a private owner's unit and includes departure housekeeping only. Daily maid service or additional linens can be ordered from the front desk for an additional fee. THE LOCATION The Resort at Squaw Creek puts endless outdoor activities at your doorstep! In the winter, enjoy ski-in, ski-out access to Squaw Valley, sledding, ice skating, snowshoeing and dog sled tours through the glistening landscape. In warm months, stroll 1 minute to a stunning, 18-hole championship golf course at the base of Squaw Valley. Or take the family on a nature trail within the resort, hit the surrounding trails around Squaw Valley's peaks or hire bikes and enjoy a relaxing ride along the Truckee River Bike Trail - less than 3.5 miles from home. We’re also just a 13-minute drive from Alpine Meadows - an idyllic location for guided horseback rides. You’ll find plenty of restaurants right at the resort or nearby. There is almost no reason to cook anything with Sweet Potato's Cafe just downstairs - open for breakfast, lunch or dinner and in-room dining. Order succulent burgers at Sandy’s Pub on-site, or sample New American cuisine at Six Peaks Grille - both located right at the resort. Or hop on the short shuttle ride to the main village to Fireside Pizza Company for some of the best pizzas anywhere in Lake Tahoe.
