Remodeled 3BR Condo, Near Downtown
"As advertised and a great value. The interior was clean. The kitchen was very well appointed. The location was terrific. Easy walk to the lift, bus, grocery, and liquor store. The condo was extremely close to the very well maintained community hot tub. Woodbridge staff was very accommodating and friendly to our group. Turnkey was very responsive. Highly recommend.! A couple of small items that we didn't flag during our stay: The dining room chair(s) are beginning to fall apart, the outside deck was littered with cigarette butts, and though we got the pilot lit, we could not get the fireplace to light (possible user error)."..."

Brand-New 3BR w/ Deck & Mountain Views, on River
"We had a lovely time at the condo. I found it to be neat and clean. Great location and they provide a shuttle to get to the other mountains. Only disappointment was that there was no hot tub; there is a hot pool only. Property management was very helpful and he even cleaned the snow off our car. :)"..."

How to pick the perfect vacation rental in Aspen

Located remotely in the Rocky Mountains and along the Roaring Fork River, Aspen is home to some of the world’s most popular ski resorts—Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk, and the Snowmass Ski Resort—as well as gorgeous hiking areas like Maroon Bells and hot springs. For the less adventurous, visitors can enjoy live music at the Bud Light Spring Jam annually in the spring, as well as the town’s unique culture during the 12 Days of Aspen in December. With something to do for everyone, it’s easy to see why some of America’s icons, including John Denver and Hunter S. Thompson, called Aspen home.

Follow these tips to help you pick the perfect Aspen, Colorado vacation rental for your travel plans.

  • Where to stay to go skiing.Aspen is surrounded by four iconic ski areas: Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk, and the Snowmass Ski Resort. Aspen Mountain is located just four minutes by car away from Main Street, making it easily accessible for those who want to stay downtown. Aspen Highlands—a favorite among locals—is located off Maroon Creek Road, in the southern part of town. A favorite for beginner skiers, Buttermilk is located northwest of Aspen Highlands, off Highway 82. Snowmass is located the furthest away from downtown Aspen, 8 miles west.
  • Where to stay if you’re going to the Bud Light Spring Jam.Aspen’s premier spring music festival, the Bud Light Spring Jam, occurs annually in March and brings two weeks of competitions, concerts downtown, and parties at Snowmass. To experience the majority of the festival, stay either at the Snowmass Resort or close by. For folks only interested in the live music, consider staying in downtown Aspen.
  • Where to stay to go the Maroon Bells. There is no shortage of hiking spots around the Rocky Mountains, but locals and visitors alike all recommend the Maroon Bells, also known as the most photographed peaks in North America. Because the Maroon Bells have limited accessibility by car, consider staying near Rubey Park in downtown Aspen or near the Snowmass Resort; both are pickup spots for a bus that takes visitors to the Maroon Bells.
  • Where to stay to for the 12 Days of Aspen. From Dec. 20 to Dec. 31, Aspen is transformed into a winter wonderland, complete with carolers, Santa Claus, and fireworks. Most of the festivities occur in the downtown area of Aspen, so look for vacation rentals on or near Main Street for the best access to events.
  • How to choose your own Aspen rental experience.Aspen is truly a city for anyone, not just for ski enthusiasts or outdoorsy folks. Stay along West Main Street to be amongst the town’s many art galleries, local restaurants, parks, and even the John Denver Sanctuary. Stay in west Aspen, near Highway 82, to be near more touristy areas, like Snowmass and Buttermilk, or go south to ski and hike among the locals.
