With two bedrooms on the main level and three on the lower level, it’s ideally suited for groups seeking flexible sleeping space. Offering views of the Continental Divide, this mountain getaway lets you enjoy a wonderfully quiet setting, while being just minutes away from the slopes and town. In fact, you’re less than 8 miles from the lifts of Winter Park, putting you close to world-class skiing, restaurants, and live music venues. Park in the oversized two-car garage with ample room to store your bikes and ski gear. ABOUT THE HOUSE After a day on the mountain, curl up on the couch and oversized armchair with ottoman in the bright and contemporary living. Warm your toes beside the gas fireplace and watch a movie on the 47” wall-mounted TV with surround sound system and Dish satellite. A second living room on the lower level features a foosball table and 40” flat screen TV with DVD player, as well as a couch and love seat. The kitchen comes well-equipped with full suite of appliances, ample cabinet space, and plenty of counter space to prep meals for a crowd. In the mornings, fire up the Keurig machine for your morning coffee. When it’s time to eat, gather at the wooden table with seating for six. Four more can dine at the nearby kitchen bar. A sliding door leads to a balcony offering woodland views. This home sleeps 10 between five modern and tastefully furnished bedrooms. On the entry level, the spacious master bedroom comes with a queen bed, armchair, and access to a balcony. An en-suite bathroom offers a dual vanity, jetted tub, and separate walk-in shower. The nearby second bedroom also has a queen bed, and shares the balcony with the master. The remaining bedrooms are located on the lower level. A light and airy third bedroom has two twin beds. There’s a queen bed in the fourth bedroom, and the larger fifth bedroom also has a queen bed along with a convenient desk area. All bedrooms have their own storage closets. Two guest bathrooms both feature walk-in showers. Guest amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, a gas grill, and a washer/dryer. Parking is available for two cars in the garage. (Please don’t block the driveway which is shared with the adjoining townhouse. No parking is allowed on the street.) THE LOCATION Drive 14 minutes to Winter Park — offering tubing and over 3,000 acres of ski terrain. There’s plenty of opportunities for year-round fun, including whitewater rafting, zip lining, hiking, and horseback riding. Take a trip back to the era of pioneer ranching and stagecoach travel at Cozens Ranch Museum (a 7-minute drive). Check out the post office and stage shop (dating back to the 1870s), along with the museum’s historic memorabilia, antiques and books. For an evening of family fun, drive 9 minutes for bowling and movies at The Foundry Cinema & Bowl. Local dining options are less than a 5-minute drive away.
