Redfish Cove 3BR w/ Screened Pool & Boat Dock
"The house itself, as well as the neighborhood of Cape coral both were exactly what my wife and I were looking for. A nice relaxing oasis where we can unwind. I would certainly recommend this house and area to anyone. The only issues we experienced were several unexpected visitors, such as pest control, pool servicing, landscapers, etc. Only one of the visitors was expected."..."

Why rent a vacation home in Cape Coral

Cape Coral is a gorgeous city on the Florida Gulf Coast, bursting with relaxing amenities and thrilling adventures. Famous for its 400 miles of canals -- the most of any city in the world, including Venice -- maps of Cape Coral can make it look like a maze, one best-navigated by boat rather than by car. By staying in a vacation home in Cape Coral, you can experience canal life for yourself. Here are some of the things you can look forward to during your visit to Cape Coral:

  • Kayak among the manatees at Sirenia Vista Park You do not have to travel far for a great Florida nature experience. At Sirenia Vista Park you can view Florida manatees - an experience unique to this region. Observe ospreys and purple martins. Launch a kayak and explore this aquatic preserve on your own. From Sirenia Vista Park you can follow the kayak route through the Calusa Blueway to the Matlacha Pass Aquatic Preserve. See mangroves and a myriad of species of wildlife, up close and personal.
  • Play Golf at Coral Oaks Golf Course Coral Oaks Golf Course is a gorgeous par 72 course for all skills levels, which features eight lakes. Beautiful views are all around as you wind your way through this amazing course. Coral Oaks also offers a large practice area and lessons. After your round of golf, indulge and relax at Knickers Pub, a full service restaurant and bar with stunning views of the course.
  • Stroll Through the Mangroves at Four Mile Cove Ecological Preserve

This is an easy, 1.2 mile shady, hike on a boardwalk through classic Florida landscapes. You quickly come upon marshes and mangroves. Birds are all around. Benches and overlooks are located along the trail. Kayak rentals are available should you desire to venture into the twists and turns of the mangrove tunnels and view nature from water level. The park offers fishing at the platform on the Caloosahatchee River. A visitor's center is at the beginning of the trail to assist you with planning your adventure here. This location is wonderful due to it's easy access from anywhere in Cape Coral. If you want to get out in nature, but not spend the entire day doing it, this is your one-stop shop!

  • Get wet at SunSplash Family WaterparkEvery Florida vacation needs a day at the waterpark. Offering 14 acres of water slides and activities from a lazy river tube ride to the Zoom Flume, you and your family will find something for everyone at SunSplash Family Waterpark. There are kid friendly slides and pools such as Pirates Cove and the Pro Racers, as well as slides for the thrill seekers in your group such as the 264 foot long, Thunder Bump.
  • Shop at Miromar Outlet StoresThis outlet store mecca is only 25 minutes from Cape Coral and has 100+ stores to choose from. If you are shopping for great deals or just want to spend a day browsing, this is a great destination.
  • Get Away from it All at Cayo Costa State Park

Looking for a rustic island experience? You will find it on Cayo Costa. This rural barrier island is only accessible by private boat or ferry and offers nine miles of natural beaches. Pack a picnic and be ready to relax under the oaks, or follow a nature trail through mangrove swamps. Pods of dolphins and manatees are often spotted from this amazing location. Fishing is welcomed from shore or from your boat. Off-road biking is a great way to explore the 2,426 acre island park. Ferry services are available to Cayo Costa from Punta Gorda, Pine Island, Fort Myers, Sanibel and Captiva Islands - all close by.
