Why Yachats guests love staying with TurnKey...

"Staying at the home was a treat. The home was well stocked with everything we needed. The view from every window was supreme, especially the one facing the ocean where we could watch seals, birds and surf. The only disappointment was the un-setup hot-tub which my grandkids would have enjoyed and the fireplace that we couldn't light. Other than those small issues, the home was outstanding."..."

3BR Oceanfront w/ Fire Pit & Balcony
"We had an amazing time here. First, the views are absolutely stunning. Just an incredible atmosphere in the house. Second, the set up is great for families. The lower level has two bedrooms, a tv room/play area with a fold out couch and a full bathroom with tub and laundry. We brought baby gates for the stairs and there was no issue at all for our three small kids including a crawling baby. The upper level bedroom has a full bath as well. The views from that room are the same breathtaking view as from the living room. The kitchen is fully stocked. The place was clean and tidy. There was a telescope and binoculars for viewing whales and seals or fishing boats. The path to the beach is essentially right next to the house. The beach is perfect. The house is down the road from 101 (no road noise or traffic) and in a cute neighborhood. The house itself feels very quiet and private. It's also a very short drive into Yachats, or Waldport. In the garage are beach toys, kites, crab rings and a grill. The outdoor fire pit area is nice as well, as is the deck. We would absolutely stay here again. We loved it. Things that could make it better: we couldn't find any washcloths in the bathrooms and there wasn't much toilet paper stocked. Consider bringing your own. The round window in the dining area has some condensation between the panes which partially obstructs the view. Perhaps it needs a new seal? Also, the screen door going to the deck was hard to open/close. All very minor things, if I'm nit picking. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a beautiful house, right on the beach with incredible views."..."

3BR Oceanfront w/ Fire Pit & Balcony
"Our group had an amazing stay here over Presidents day weekend. The views from just about every room are amazing and it makes you feel like you're living in a special castle on the coast. The decor is tasteful and unique - all fits a nautical theme. Kitchen was well equipped. Bedrooms were good - bottom level rooms nicer than upstairs rooms - but all still adequate and perfect for our trip. The hot tub with that view is priceless .."..."

Why rent a Yachats, Oregon Coast vacation home

The central Oregon coastline, fringed by sandy beaches and rocky pinnacles, is a rustic, wild slice of the Pacific Northwest. A trek along the Pacific Coast Highway will allow you to discover the area’s natural beauty and create lasting memories. This is a quiet country, perfect for rest and relaxation, but the many small towns along the way offer all the culture and variety you’ll need. And since all 363 miles of Oregon’s coastline are free and public, you can go pretty much anywhere you see.

If you’re planning a trip out to the Yachats and the Oregon Coast, consider staying in a vacation rental. Vacation rentals offer more space and privacy than is typical of other types of accommodation, making them great for family and group trips. You’ll have a full kitchen to prepare meals in, a living room to spend quality time with your travel partners in, and flexible sleeping arrangements. Plus, many Yachats vacation homes offer perks like excellent access to the beach, private decks and balconies, hot tubs, dedicated parking, and stunning views. And when you stay in a TurnKey Yachats home, you won’t have to worry about missing your favorite hotel perks: every stay with us includes a starter set of toiletries, hotel-grade towels and linens, free WiFi, a professional cleaning before your arrival, and 24/7 support from our local Yachats and the Oregon Coast team.

Here are some things to look forward to during your stay in an Yachats vacation rental:

  • Whale watchingGet ready to ooh and ahh as you spy some of the largest mammals on earth. Depoe Bay is the whale watching capital of the central Oregon coast, offering whale-watching cruises almost year-round.
  • Otter Rock Marine ReserveHarbor seals are the most common marine mammal in Oregon, particularly at the Otter Rock Marine Reserve. It's a great place to not only view seals, but to observe the wealth of ocean life in the shore's rocky tide pools. Access to the reserve is through Devil’s Punchbowl State Natural Area.
  • Hunt for agatef you are traveling with children, they will enjoy searching for beautiful, translucent stones at the Agate Beach State Recreation Area near Newport. It's a beautiful beach, perfect for a picnic...and, when in season, it's a popular place to dig for razor clams.
  • Oregon Coast AquariumIn case you didn't stop at Otter Rock, you can see the many ocean species that call Oregon home at this aquarium in Newport. Upon arrival, be sure to check the feeding schedule for an even closer look at the residents.
  • Sea Lion CavesA privately owned wildlife preserve just north of Florence, Sea Lion Caves offers an opportunity to visit America's largest sea cave. Stellar sea lions call it home, along with many oceanic birds.
