This 3BR/2BA lakefront home offers an array of amenities that are sure to delight. Step out to a lower-level patio from the private master suite, or enjoy a group breakfast on the upper-level deck. The large waterfront backyard overlooks a peaceful cove on Lake Travis and includes a private boat dock that is great for fishing. With a unique layout, this two-story house is on a gentle slope and the view of the water can be appreciated from both levels. Located in Texas Hill Country, this rental is near superb wineries, distilleries, and upscale dining. LIVING AREA The open living area features a 42” flat-screen TV with a DVD player and Apple TV. Two reclining leather armchairs and a couch offer comfortable seating for five. KITCHEN & DINING The kitchen is fully equipped with granite countertops, modern appliances, and all you’ll need to prepare hearty home-cooked meals. Double doors lead directly out to the deck, where you can catch the sunrise with a cup of coffee. The adjacent dining area also has a door leading to the deck, creating an inviting free-flowing space. The expandable dining table has seating for six. BEDROOMS & BATHS This two-story home sleeps up to six guests in three bedrooms. Each floor has a bathroom with a tub/shower combination. The lower-level master bedroom has its own private entry. Offering quiet serenity, this suite features a plush queen-size bed, an en-suite bathroom, and double doors opening to a patio with lake views. On the upper level, the second bedroom features a king-size bed, while the third guest room has two twin beds and a flat-screen TV. OUTDOOR AREAS In addition to a large backyard, each floor has an outdoor area overlooking the water. The upper-level deck is perfect for outdoor entertaining, complete with a gas grill, seating for six, and a large umbrella. Wooden stairs lead down to the lower-level patio, with seating for four as well as access to a path leading to your private boat dock, equipped with a six-seat patio table -- a great hangout spot. A convenient ladder allows guests to swim right from the dock, with extras including floats, life jackets, basic fishing gear, and a two-person kayak! Tie your boat up to the dock and don’t worry about heavy boat traffic as this home is located on a very calm part of the lake. There is great fishing (mostly perch and catfish) right from the dock, bring your fishing gear! EXTRA AMENITIES & DETAILS Guest amenities at this home include complimentary Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer, and parking for three cars in the driveway (street parking is not available). To access the master suite on the lower level, you must take the outside stairs (there are no interior stairs between the two floors). LOCATION Your home is perfectly situated near a number of wineries and distilleries, all within a 10 to 30 minute drive. The closest is Crystal Creek Distillery, just 3.7 miles away. About 15 miles away is the highly recommended Stone House Vineyard. A variety of dining options are within a 15-minute drive, from casual roadhouse options such as Angel’s Icehouse (7.5 miles) to fine dining at Apis Restaurant & Apiary (just under 6 miles). For boaters, the nearest ramp is at Pace Bend Park, 8.6 miles away. The boat dock at your rental is tie-up only, there is no slip.
